Recently Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the east campus held a hand-copied newspaper competition with the theme of ‘Being thankful’ in Grade 7. Each student positively responded and cooperated with each other to create their own spiritual works. More noticeably, a great many students took the theme of ‘Being Grateful to Parents and Teachers’ and many others completed the hand-copied newspapers full of creativity and wrote articles praising their parents and teachers.
In a word, this activity enriched students’ extracurricular life on campus and improved their hands-on abilities. Through this informative event, students from Grade 7 received a wonderful moral value education which educated them to feel thankful in study and life in that on the one hand, students should treat parents, teachers and everyone around them with gratitude. On the other hand, they were supposed to be grateful and continue to set out in their study and life in Anqing Foreign Language School!
